Tunnel Barn Farm Weekly Report ending 17th October 2010

There have been some big weights out this week, with double figure carp and 100lb+ catches in matches. White maggot has been the best bait fishing at 8-10m on the bottom with slop groundbait. Bread on warmer days can also produce with breadcrumb groundbait.

        Top Pool
Was very slow at the beginning of the week, but has picked up a lot since midweek, with roach, perch, f1 & f2 carp, bream and rudd all showing well at 8m.

        Bottom Pool
Corn in some margin pegs for big carp. Pellet out with slop for f1 carp and silverfish at 8m hard on the bottom with groundbait.

        House Pool
Pellet or maggot in the margins and out for carp and silverfish on a waggler or straight lead to the islands for big common carp.

        House 2/Extension Pool
Pellet produced 148lb in the match on Monday fished at 4m. White maggot is also catching lots of fish.

        New Pool
Pellet or bread up in the water on warmer days for some big carp and bream. On the bottom for all other fish with groundbait.

        Canal Pool
Maggot is fishing the best at the moment at 8-14m on the bottom, except on warmer days when the fish will come up in the water. Roach, bream, tench, barbel, f1 & f2 carp are all showing well.

        Club Pool
Pellet and bread have been the main baits on this pool with carp, bream, roach, barbel and the odd chub showing well. Also straight lead to island with dead maggot has been catching some big fish.
