  wot size do i need a 16.2 or a 17.7mm

  Yes you can, they are only a hard type foam. I love them, and have them on my 4 and 5.

  Is there a little lee way on the sizes lads, as mine sections are 17mm.
  would i be better gettin the slightly bigger ones and squeezing it in if its only soft foam?

  I prefer the nose cones that Trev Jeans makes out of ptfe
  
  They clip into the section and you can use pulla kits with them

  He’ll tell you if he has your pole diameters written down or if you need to send him the measurements.
  
  A bit dearer than clean caps but imo a lot better

  Yes, slightly bigger, and a dab of superglue so they don’t come off.
  
  I just looked and the sizes i found were: 9mm, 11.5, 16, 18.5, 21, 22, 25.5, and 33mm.

  I use the clean caps mainly because if you do unship they will keep your sections afloat.
