        I’m looking for some digital scales that wont break the bank.

        Suggestions and recommendations very welcome guys.

          Get some Newsome digital scales. Weigh up to 77lb in 1oz divisions or the equivalent in kgs, with a good zeroing facility and backlit for night use. The scales themselves are tiny, probably not more than 4×2 inches and take up next to no space. Good battery life as they automatically shut off after a minute or so. Best of all, they are dirt cheap, had mine 2.5-3 yrs and probably the best bit of fishing related kit i have ever bought in 31 yrs of angling !

            Salter Scales I got mine from here, but you may find them elsewhere on the net. They have been reliable and so long as you treat them with respect they will last.

            Are you looking for weighing at matches or for that specimen you just need to know what it weighs?

            There are other makes about but not having used them can’t comment

              Thanks guys

              Cutnut – yes just to have in my bag for when that whopper comes along ot I have an exceedingly good day and want to weight my netfull – not that it happens very often lol
