          For fishing the slider you will require a float adaptor that has a built in swivel. Drennan make them.

              I use the preston feeder links on the blue/black beads, attaching the float to the link swivel.

              Works a treat and reduces the preasure on reel lines if using large floats to cast distnces.

                You can also use a small link swivel and a small diameter bead above it.

                It seems to fish that bit more ‘direct’ in my opinion.

                    Use a small link swivel, if you need to, squeeze the eye of the swivel down with pliers – don’t use less than 020 line.
