Tunnel Barn Farm Weekly Report ending 31st October 2010

Maggot and pellet have been the best baits as the weather has cooled down, fishing with groundbait on the bottom at 6-8m and using a pole feeder to the islands with dead maggot.

Top Pool
F1 carp have shown on pellet on all pegs. Maggot for roach, bream, perch, and chub. The odd big carp have been caught against the island with straight lead.

Bottom Pool
Some big commons and mirror carp caught this week against the islands on waggler or straight lead. Lots of f1 carp and silverfish to maggot with one perch caught weighing 3.5lb.

House Pool
F1 carp, roach, bream, perch and barbel on maggot hard on the bottom with pellet based groundbait fished at 10m

House 2/Extension Pool
F1 carp, bream, roach, tench, rudd and chub on all pegs, fished at 8-10m to red or white maggot. Pole feeder to the islands with dead maggot has also produced well.

New Pool
Chub on the roadside pegs to maggot at 6-8m. F1 carp, bream, roach, perch and tench fishing pellet or maggot with groundbait producing some good weights.

Canal Pool
Red maggot for f1 & f2 carp, bream, roach, perch, tench, barbel and golden rudd. The fish have been on the bottom on the colder days and up in the water on the warmer ones.

Club Pool
Pellet with groundbait at 10m for f1 & f2 carp, bream, barbel, roach and the odd common carp. the fish have been at 6m and 14m.
