~shh ~shh ~shh For the past 18 months i have been listening to the rumors surrounding the Iraqi Dinar.I have a few pals that work in the city and overseas who have invested in the new currency that has been printed.
Without going into to much detail it appears that because of the vast oil reserves found in the country(among other things),the purchase of the Dinar could be a good investment.I have for this reason decided to take the plunge, and yesterday i secured a small amount to cover the cost of a new pole.
I have passed on the information to my weekend fishing buddies, but thought i would mention it on this site for your attention. If you want to look into it,and would like to “gamble” a few quid to pay for new tackle please do so.I have been advised that the clock is ticking, and the time is approaching for the new currency value to be updated.
This could be a scam lads but i have only invested a small amount just in case it happens. The way i look at it is “youve got to be in it to win it”…GAMBLE SENSIBLY AND TAKE CARE.~naughty ~shh ~think

Many thanks for your input Neil.Of course i too have read all the info on the speculation of the Dinar, but and a big but,i chose to invest in a small way because of the information i received from my friends in the City.
It appears that many of the exsisting government, and some of the old Labour “brigade”(TB and GB included)have invested quite heavily in the new currency.I just felt that if high ranking officials thought it a good idea i would join the rushing throng of so called “mugs”.I would be kicking myself if it did reap the rewards i have been hearing, and i had not invested.
Yes it is a gamble…but our money is not earning proping up our banks or under our beds.In fact i purchased mine from “good old Barclays”,and they told me they would buy them back when i returned from my holiday to Iraq.It is possible i could lose 7% on the resale, but you lose that on the sale of the Euro,so it aint a heavy loss…..Its one i think is worth the gamble on such a small investment….You takes your choice.~think ~think ~think ~think

P.S….Mind you i think investing in your floats could be a better proposition mate…Take care.
