TF_CockneyI know alot people prefer mail order with free delivery & Harrison’s is good for this. But for me the layout of the Benwick Sports site & the stock & service is very, very good. Have also used Billy Clarke’s in Sheffield recently for 3 or 4 order’s & they are spot on from advice to delivery.

AnonymousI do support my local shop but plenty of stuff they don’t have and won’t get, what do I do go without?? they never stock tubertini 808 and once in a while have b911, never have decent rig line I like shimano antares silk shock, if they sold all that then I would love to buy it all from them cheers

TF_CockneyThe support your local shop thing is olds hat now. My local shop has not moved on from 10 years ago. Stock is poor, pricing is very poor & the shop employs people with little knowledge of fishing. So why should you support your local shop?

TF_NW Cut AnglerAll the dealers listed above are fantastic. Not used this one for a while but they were always decent; http://www.castaway-tackle.co.uk
If you go into a local tackle shop, particularly if you are a regular customer and ask them to get you a product, especially something small relatively inexpensive I have never had any problem.

TF_gloves007ukI have been using Fishermans Friend for a while now great service and goods come in quick time to my door
as for supporting your local tackle shop well the way i see it if i can get a peice of tackle cheaper on the web then thats where i will goyes i do agree that they need our coin to keep going but in this current climate i also cannot afford to pay extra at a local tackle shop for a item of tackle when i can get cheaper off the net
i also have to live of what i earn as well -
