I have been using magnetic hook boxes, but find that they are loosing their magnetism & hooks are getting mixed up. I was thinking of going back to packets of untied hooks in wallets.
        Any wallet suggestions?
        Regards Peter.

I have been jeered at and generally had the michael taken out of me for believing this but I firmly believe that those magnetic hook boxes add a magnetic force to the hooks that the fish can feel. I don’t think that they like it.

Chuck them away and just keep your hooks stored in the original packaging in any one of the many seal-able boxes that you can buy in any of the supermarkets or pound shops.

If you want you can add a few rice grains or those bags that stop condensation.

Richard, not too sure about the magnetic effect but for sure the swims under pylons were always productive before elf & safety took a hand!
I’m a firm believer that corona effect, on hv power lines, has a definite influence on fish.
I shall get a lock & seal box as you suggest.

Yep, I agree on the power line theory. I remember stretches of river local to here where bream and tench always hung around those power lines.
