TF_bagging machineParticipantNot been for a couple of months but fish will have probably moved further out, two things i learned was not to stop firing 8mm pellets in even when you are playing a fish & the fish on the pole line are much much bigger.

TF_carpmagicParticipantFish have pretty much moved out now, odd fish still on the bomb but method is the banker. I wouldnt go overboard with the loose feed either. Summer is long gone now.

TF_Kevin LeachYes and long too, i fished 100 yards and was outclassed by the angler at the side who fished at 120yards. Steve any idea when i might be able to get some of the Kobra methods that he was using? He got them off Omah and they are not out yet?

Kevin,
Out of interest, which Kobra methods were they? Omah give me some 45grammers that he called ‘specials’, which were pear shaped, are these the ones your referring to?
Which methods are you casting 100yards with? I’ve literally just spent 3hrs making my standard 30gram brass Kobra’s 45gram.

basherParticipantThe coffin shaped ones are the ones that spring to my mind, not commercialy availiable, were made on request.

TF_Kevin LeachYes they were coffin shaped and throw like a dream, i only had 28g feeders but with extra weights stuck on them(like the ones stuck on alloy wheels)run out of space to add enough weight to get the distance. These feeders will throw as far as mine but i left all mine at home thinking it was going to be bomb work?

TF_Kevin LeachThe rod was a Hardy Marksman coupled with a 6000 sized baitrunner.

TF_Kevin Leach14ft aerocast with a 6000 xtea baitrunner and 0.22 technium and a 13ft speedmaster and 6000 xtea baitrunner and 0.22 technium both rods will go a long chuck but these feeders were something special. Got a 90g zip lead there distance no problems, but had no feed there. Should have spodded in some bait and then fished the bomb. but never been before so i should have done my own thing. will go again and try out some thing a bit different from the normal. I enjoyed it though as it made me have to think again.
