All pools are fishing well with lots of fish coming up in the water on warmer days. 100lb+ won a match this week and pleasure anglers have also been having big weights. Maggot and pellet have been the best baits. Some fish are still in the margins. The odd big carp have been caught to bread or corn on the bottom pool.
Top Pool
Some common carp to 10lb caught by pleasure anglers with straight lead dead maggot. F1 carp, bream, roach, perch and chub all on maggot up/down in the water at 6-10m.Bottom Pool
Bread to the islands on a waggler for carp into double figures. Pole in the margins with corn for mirror and common carp on warmer days. Pellet or maggot for f1 carp and silverfish.House Pool
Maggot at 6m caught 102lb in the match on Wednesday, fished on the bottom with groundbait. All pegs have been producing lots of f1 carp, bream, tench, rudd, perch and gudgeon. Dead maggot to the islands on groundbait feeder for big common and mirror carp.House 2/Extension Pool
Allpegs have lots of f1 carp and silverfish at 7-10m on pellet or maggot, fished hard on the bottom. Waggler to the islands for common carp with maggot.New Pool
The roadside pegs have produced some big weights this week, with plenty of carp, roach, bream and perch to pellet with groundbait slop at 8m. Maggot has also been producing weights on all pegs up/down in the water.Canal Pool
Red maggot fished at 8-14m for f1 & f2 carp, common & mirror carp, roach, golden rudd, tench, perch, s/bream, barbel and gudgeon. There have been some fish up in the water mid day when the weather is warmer.Club Pool
Pellet has been the best bait for common, f1 & f2 carp, tench, chub barbel and rudd fished at 10-15m on the bottom with slop groundbait.RESULTS FOR OPEN CONTESTS
