as good as any mate if in good condition.more of a silvers pole than for bagging on carp waters.

Quality pole IMO. My mate Phil had one and regularly fished it with red hydro and it handled Carp to mid doubles,

it’l be 6-7 years old and was on the same mandrel as the 210 and the old whisker,i had the 210 it cost £1800 then the 410 was the next one up and was about £2500,210 has green triangles on sections and 410 has red ones, all the current daiwa top 3’s will fit it,they were flagship poles at the time, there are plenty of spares around for them.

Good pole alright, however, I would be happier with the older Tourney x or the newer speccy.

Im thinking about swapping my tricast armantia for one as the tricast is a bit heavy for me at 16mtr although a great strong pole. The pole actually has a 17mtr extension but due to me being small im finding it difficult to hold for 5 hour matches. The majority of the fishing now is 16mtr plus to islands so need a lighter pole really.Being strong isnt always the way forward.

Very similar in feel (weight, stiffness) to a garbolino 995 but with daiwas non slide finish. I have both.

No its not great for shipping, the whole reason I changed to the 995. Light enough for me to fish 16m for 5 hrs though and I am only 10 stone when wet.
