Tunnel Barn Farm Weekly Report ending 27th November 2010

All pools have been fishing well considering the cold spell. Match and pleasure anglers are catching 70lb+ with maggot and pellet being the best baits.

        Top Pool
The bowl area for common carp to 8-10lb on warmer parts of the day to straight lead maggot. Pellet or maggot on all pegs for f1 carp and silverfish.

        Bottom Pool
70lb won the match on Monday at 4m from peg 6, using pellet. On good days some common carp have been caught to 10lb on corn. Lots of silverfish on maggot.

        House Pool
The fish are in the deep water at 9m with f1 carp, bream, roach, tench and perch to maggot or pellet.

        Extension/House 2
Again most of the fish are in the deep water at 6-10m. Maggot and slop groundbait cupped in for f1 carp, bream, roach, perch and barbel.

        New Pool
F1 carp, bream, roach and perch on all pegs to maggot or pellet fishing at 8-14m. Slop groundbait is a must.

        Canal Pool
Red maggot from 4-12m depending where the fish are feeding. Lots of f1 carp, bream and roach showing with a few barbel and tench were the water goes a little warmer.

        Club Pool
Pellet at 10-14m for f1 & f2 carp, bream, roach and maggot at 3m for perch, barbel and the odd tench.
