  Has anyone got one, used one, what’s the opinions, thinking of buying one, would prefer something a foot shorter. Any advice would be welcome as previously this is a form of fishing I’ve steered clear of but in the new year I’m going to Whiteacres and all I keep reading about is fishing the method.

  12′ is a bit long for whiteacres, 11′ is more than long enough.

  they have put over tip most of the tricast rods which i dont like personally, get urself a fox fx 10/11 ft dual feeder nice rod will do u for everythin down there. 5 tips too so can change to suit whether ur fishing for f1s or proper carp. beastmasters an carbon actives r also nice rods.

  I have the shimano beastmaster and like the action you can look at the 9′ 11′ it comes with 3 full length tips instead of short interchangeable
  
  tipsmy mate has the force masters for around 30 each from bobco its not bad for the brass,
