Had a distressing run of snowy blanks lately (stupid going out – I know). Ended it yesterday with a win at Puddledock Road Lake, the win bought up a question which I would like to get a concensus of opinion from the Forum.
With little more than 1 minute to go on the match I was a happy bunny with 12 lb of quality roach in the net and no-body else had had a bite let alone a fish. Question is does the winner take all the pools money or do the rest of the field draw for the other place money assuming no-one else weighs in.
Does not happen often and did’nt happen yesterday, loud cheers and applause heralded a 4 oz roach from another peg so my query did’nt get put to the test, was a little relieved really – honest!

That makes good sense Gaz. Winner should’nt win section money from sections he’s not in, but is entitled to all pools monies.

You take alll the money except the sections like mentioned…then the section money is usually raffled off!

I was fortunate enough to have had it happen to me about 20years ago. After much discussion, the decision was as stated. I took all the main pools money but the sections (which were defaulted anyway) went to a draw of peg numbers.
