Really, sounds like you haven’t done your research mate!
It’s a double sided box that can hold upto a 1000 hooklengths and you can adjust to your own requirements.
Tackleuk are advertising them at £22.50 but they ain’t available too January.

TF_GillboHave to admit they look class especially for where you need longer hooklengths a short ones for the same venue. The price is not that bad when you consider what Rive hook boards which are the nearest thing sell for. I will be getting one and my old man will be getting one when they come out Dave. I have been told they will be in the shops mid to late January.

TF_baitchefParticipantThey look pretty good but 1000 is just a little bit on the excessive side even for an international.
The key to hooklengths is to only make just over what you need and replace them regularly.
Even if your fishing a festival you can get carried away and be over prepared.
It only takes a bit of water to get in and they will rust.
Also the mono will weaken around the knots.Chances are you’l buy one fill it and never use them. lol.

TF_stavstick a few grains of rice of one of those sasha’s you get in packing cases to absorb damp hooks won’t go rusty unless you leave them open in rain

TF_budnuddParticipantJust because it can hold 1000 hooklengths it’s perceived that you must tie up 1000 hooks?! What utter tosh! You have the option to do so and obviously the option not to buy it!
I think it sounds like a good idea but until I see one I with-hold judgment!

TF_RutilusUs anglers are always sceptical of new products but I bet we will all have at least one in 6 months time!!

mapmikeThey will be in shops next month. With regards to the comments on the foam wearing, we have used an high density foam which is used in high end fly boxes. There is not enough friction by the hook length to cause the foam to wear. We have had several prototypes for three years now, and they are still going strong.

TF_NW Cut AnglerPeople were sceptical initially about the Meat Cutter and that was a winner. My guess is this will be a winner too.
Any thoughts of updatingg the Image Punch Board MapMike?

mapmikePeople will always be sceptical with new products – it’s just human nature. Like you say, people said the same thing with the Meat Cutter. We currently have no plans for a punch board just yet.
