What’s the difference between the Red triangle No.3 and the Silver triangle No.3?

I’ve been told that these have the same carbon content? If so then why the colour change?

I thought red was power and silver match?

I bought my Airity with red triangle power kits and silver triangle match kits apparently its right thats how they are supplied from Daiwa. I was thinking they had a stock pile of power kits due to lack of demand when they sold all the tournaments so they had pushed em out with other poles of the same mandrel but apparently thats not accurate.~naughty

it was for different models so people couldnt sell a section off a cheaper pole stating it was for an expensive pole cause daiwa made their pole to one mandrel

              So are they the same?

red triangle kits are from the tourny pro.they are match kits.the power kits that come with the tourny pro are ctk5s which have a green band round the base, the ctk 10 power kits have a white band round the base.the silver triangles also come on generic no3 sections & older kits from the daiwa spectron. hope this helps

i reckon they are, cant see the top kits being made of different grades of carbon i use top3s from an original tournament x in my tournament pro and i dont think they make the pole behave any different
