        well its the last winter league match this Sunday.
        I am looking to stay fishing the canals for a while.
        Has anyone got any dates of opens or local leagues that we could put a team in? Basey, Wey Nav,K&A or Grand Union would be ok travelling wise as based in Southampton.

              Selfey have a look on here i know that there is a teams of 4 league on the Bassy after Christmas.Starting on January the 11th.

                Dave, re. the Pewsey matches, Me and Gary Etheridge are going to run them and we are thinking of 9th ,23rd of Jan.13th 27th Feb and the 6th of March,(Although I haven’t actually booked the water yet) And provided it warms up a bit so we can get on there. I’ll stick the actual dates on here when I finalise them with Pewsey club.

                    Selfy, there are matches nearly every week on the “canals” at Greenridge. Come and catch some proper fish!!

                          Its all about balanced tackle Pete, I am expecting a few hairy moments tomorrow from some rather small gudgeon.
                          You are also rather oddly ignoring our local canal Dave, what is wrong with the Itchen navigation. I have yet to see it freeze and grayling are well known for feeding in the winter.
