Hi lads, if a float is damaged by having eye ripped out taking a bit of the body too, is it possible to repair it by filling the hole left with anything and re-coating and re attatching the eye, cheers

          You could maybe use araldite.

Get some hand made floats, you won’t have that problem again.

Fill the holes with Araldite and re fit the eyes on the other side of the floats. Then give them a coat of varnish.

Those are the 2 styles i have loads of!! Does passing line through a rubber sleeve snd sliding onto bristle effect the performance of the float as this surely makes it stronger? cheers lads

As Paul has said Hillbilly chumps, these are my no.1 choice. Either those or Nick Gilbert’s Gimps.

Feedback on these has been excellent, I am currently testing a cane tipped version that will be out soon!
