fished it about 18months ago, came second, fished down the track with chopped worms and casters and nailed a shoal of skimmers for a decent weight. Winning weight was won with about 70-80lb of carp caught on corn/pellet on the pole. This was the end peg…Its a nice venue but if i remember the balif has a dog and the mut broke my pole section after coming in for a nose of my feed….Advice given to me was to fish tight to the island for the carp whcih can be reach by the pole. hope this helps

fished it for the last two weeks , 28 there last week was won with 40lb i was second with 38lb fishing half depth over and on saturday i was second again with 44lb fishing half depth on pellet tight over.

Fished it quite a few times, method to the island to start with and fill the margins in, either deaed maggot or Cat food riddled, as soon as you see a tail go down there, you can catch down there for the rest of the match, when they turn up they do so in numbers and a good weight can be put together very quickly.

In our last match there a lad had 2 skimmers after 4 hours then caught 75lb down the edge on cat food in the last hour to win.
