I regularly feeder fish those depths for bream and gave up on braid due to hassle trying to get it to sink quickly and the large bows in cross winds at distance. I swapped to Prestons Direct Mono about 4 years ago and never looked back- the .17 dia 4.5lb bs now covers virtually all my bream fishing.

I’ve used both the preston braid, and sea fishing I use berkley whiplash original. The berkly has seriously low diameter, think it’s .08 for 20lb. Not cheap, but 300m a spool so works out enough for two reels. Poingedtres always used to have it on special offer too.

The preston stuff isn’t as strong for its diameter, but seems to work fine. I tend to have no problems with either tangling.

Have also played with berkley whiplash crystal, but don;t like it and the claims of it being invisible in water aren;t very well founded as I could see it easily.

Does any braid sink first time out. Some braids are flat some are round, what diameter do they use. What is Suffix Camo like?

Try the Ron Thompson dyna cable dia 0.08 or 0.10, its about the best from new. The more you use it, the better it will sink.
