        Hello gents

        I have a club match on this lake (pegs 34-45) on Sunday and have only fished it in winter before. Does anybody have any ideas about methods?

          bomb and pellet / method. give em plenty of stick or you’ll just get smashed in sticks (if u draw on any) .21 hooklength at least

            Peter, apparently it is 0.06 bottom, 24 hook and single pinkie…

            Congrats on the win on Sunday; sorry that I didn’t catch you after the match. I am missing this Sunday but should be on Swan in June all being well.

              Thanks Gary, may opt for squatts to be on the safe side.

              I dashed off after the match as I didn’t want to miss that traffic jam! You’ll have seen the newsletter, but I’m sure a better angler could have had 100lb off my swim. I thought your achievement in that quiet corner was much better.

                take a gallon of maggots cause if your not on a noted carp peg ull not catch any carp so u have to catch silvers instead and theres millions of them on a t3 and keep the maggots going in and dont come off it 0.12 to a 16 hook with single maggot on
