There are a lot of F1’s in twin oaks so use the smaller hooks with a short hair rig. Fish single pellet or small bits of meat. You need to fish very tight to the far bank on the method or very close in to any feature like bushes or trees.
On Acorn fish down the side, use pegs 5 – 10. You can method to the island as well. Hair rigged is better if you can. On Acorn try feeding lots of pellets down the edge and fishing a lobworm over the top. You can pick up a lot of the larger fish then.

Method in the inside edge also works very well on Acorn if the fish are spooking under your pole which they often do. Just make damn sure your anti-reverse is off and your clutch is slack or they’ll have your knuckles off!
