MrFoxman4mm, 6mm and 8mm I believe. Not sure on the price but I would imagine around the £2.50 mark per bag.

TF_lloydy1970Are fisheries that insist you use their pellets taking the mick when they pay peanuts for a sack then make 300% profit on them.

TF_wildinguk3.80 a bag, that’s disgusting!! They are sonu comp ones there aren’t they? If so think it’s about 800g in a bag, still 3 quid a bag would be a more respectable price. I was contemplating taking a visit sometime, but at that price for pellets on top of petrol and ticket price, no chance.

shark7i think this is one of the biggest rip offs around £3.80 for a bag of pellets thats £11.40 for 3 & thats about what you need ~naughty

BlueNoseParticipantSimple solution to this…..
just don’t fish there until the prcies come down or the rules are changed.
This is why I hate commercials and don’t fish them, too many rules and you get ripped off, rather stick to my cnal or river fishing thanks.

Although this one clearly does!

TF_Fred DavisI only visit woodland veiw once a year on the annual postal teams of four National, personally I like the fishery, and don’t find it to bad at all, There is a limit on the ammount of pellet you can use, some of the anglers use caster and worm but at £4.00 a pint for caster and worm at £11 half a kilo it’s still cheaper to fish the pellet, angling has never been a cheap sport to compete in, with costs rising nothing will change, I would rather the commercial fishery insist on chargeing me over the odds for fishery pellet than be filled in as a land fill site the following year because they couldn’t meets there overheads. Alternatively I can still go and sit on the canal with bread punch for a day that costs next to nothing and put up with all the dog shit and numerous nutters that roam the towpaths these days due to help in the community projects, one of our postal lads had a women jump on his pole a few weeks ago in a match, the pole was on a set of rollers parralell to the towpath, she exclamed in a drunken slur fishing shouldn’t be allowed as she smashed the pole. The lad she picked on is a very placid angler and a very nice guy and mate to boot, I have only ever see him lose his temper once in forty years of angling, on one occasion only, this was that day.

Lindholme charge £2 a bag, which works out gram for gram cheaper than most bags in your tackle shop.
I believe Neil has it about right with this pricing, as its clear hes not out to rip you off. Yeah he will make money from them, but thats business.
3.80 is a disgrace, and a clear big money maker. I considered a visit, I think I wont bother!!

TF_Fred Davisas for £8 for breakfast I have never paid that much at woodland veiw normally around a fiver, if breakfast prices have risen that much the easy answer is to nip down the road into droitwich opposite the land rover dealer is a cafe that does a full english for £3, how did I find out about the cafe in droitwich yep the owner of the fishery told me himself when we arrived midweek and thier cafe was closed.
fishing can only be as expensive as you make it, If money is tight then take a sausage sarny and a flask of coffee from home thats what I have to do on occasion.
cockney made up some fantastic margin/far bank floats take 3×8 4×8 & 5×8 some are even using them for fishing up in the water, so impressed I am making a load more, the lads collared some sunday, I even ended up diving into my tackle box to get out the 10 I had put aside for myself, still managed to save a few for myself just, even more pleased when the lads who finished first and second overall(Colin Horwood and Alan Dove in the match at puddleduck (66 fished) both used these floats to great effect. If I get a chance i’ll put up a picture.

1mm fibreglass stem, 2mm hollow bristle, spring eye job done

MIKEMASONTo those people talking about the price of pellets and breakfast at Woodland View.
A typical case of people who don’t know what they are talking about .
The Sonu biat competiton pellets had been the same price for the past 4 1/2 years, they have Never been £3.80,the recent price increase was due to a country wide increae in V.A.T from 17.5% to the new 20%.They are been sold at the same price as when sold in the tackle shops as recommended by Sonubaits.com.
A considerable number of regulars purchase these pellets to use elsewhere. You can use your own hooker pellet.
Our standard all inclusive breakfast has NEVER been £8,the pice charged has been the same for the past 10 years despite increases in food prices. -
