Dehydration or the glare off the water ~think ~think
Take some shades with you and a large bottle of water

TF_drawbag1967Eye strain mate I get them every now and again, could be worse I’m suffering from a bit of vertigo at the the moment accompanied by dizzy spells, I nearly ended up in Pollawyn down at Whiteacres last week.

TF_Waveney OneI very, very, very rarely get a headache. Once when I had mild sunstroke fishing a London Reservoir on the concrete banks from 6am to about 5pm 40 years ago and maybe 2 or 3 other times.
My mother used to say – no sense no feeling!

TF_Smedyep i used to get frequent head aches after matches, got my eyes tested and im very slightly short sighted, optician also recommended i wear polarised glasses, so got some made to my prescription and they are fantastic, dont know how i coped without em b4!
and yeah drink plenty of water is also good advice, more so after a night on the pop!
also a cap in sunny weather will help!

TF_Jon WAlmost certainly dehydration. On a hot day drink at least 2L of water during the match. Could be eye strain too. Get some shade and/or hat. I used to suffer with head aches alot. Drinkeing plenty seemed to work best but I have some paracetamol and ibupfofen in my box just in case.

TF_NW Cut AnglerNot drinking enough (water) is IMO the most common reason for headaches whilst/after fishing.
