          No doubt he has but on the Dynamite festival Alan never won so much as a section. His undoubled skills need to be matched with a bit of luck at the drawbag as well.
          That said off his draws I do not think many others would have won this festival. The odd point dropped makes all the difference its really that tight.

            I drew close to alan a couple of times last week and he never drew any fliers as such but made the peg into a section winning pag which is what you need to do . A class angler and a nice fella

              Pete, I was down the week before and the wind was terrible.However it did favour at least two draws Alan had 34 Polly and 20 Trelawny were definately better due to the conditions than they would normally have been with that cold Easterly.
              I have fished with Alan for charity and he is no doubt a class act and a nice bloke too.
