        Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery Results and form May 17th, 2011

        Top Pool
        Maggot or pellet is always a good option with all species showing. Meat over hemp has been sorting out a bigger stamp of fish at 6m in front with paste at 4m and at 3m down the edges also sorting out bigger fish and better bags, with weights up to 100lb being reported in the tackle shop.

        Bottom Pool
        Meat and corn to the island for mirrors and common carp to 12lb. Chopped worm has been catching roach to 1lb and perch up to 2.5lb. Paste or pellet down the edges for mirrors/commons and f1’s to 2lb.

        House Pool
        Swim feeder with corn or meat to the islands for larger fish, commons and mirrors up to 11lb. Meat is now coming into its own accounting for large bags of f1’s up to 3lb at 6m and down the edges.
        Maggots are providing plenty of silverfish sport at 4-9m (skimmers up to 1lb in particular).
        Paste/pellet down the edges is also producing a good stamp of fish with big f1’s up to 4lb and mirrors up to 7lb.

        Extension pool
        Corn over 4mm hard pellet has been taking good bags of f1’s to 2lb and mirrors to 6lb fished long to the islands. Meat at 7m hard on the deck is also catching well.
        Pellet or maggot is taking plenty of fish with bream up to 2lb being reported. Paste or meat down the edges at 3m has been producing large commons and mirrors.

        New Pool
        Good bags of fish being caught on most baits ere. Meat being the main bait fished long to the island or down the edges at 4m. Large f1’s and mirrors being taken on 2mm cubes of meat. Bags of over 100lb have been reported all week.

        Canal Pool
        White maggot up in the water at 6m for large f1’s up to 3lb. Corn over hemp to the islands has been producing large mirrors and common to 8lb.
        The bait of the week has to be paste down the edges at 4m & 6m with two matches being won with over 120lb of fish. The bags consisted of f1’s to 3lb and mirrors/commons to 6lb.

        Club Pool
        Chopped worm and caster to the islands for good bags of mirrors and f1’s. Bronze maggot up in the water is producing large bags o f1’s at 7m. Maggot on the deck at 5-7m is catching plenty of roach, perch, skimmers and bream at 4lb+.
        Pellet down the edges for mixed bags including barbell up to 2.5lb

        Jenny’s Pool
        Banded hard 4mm pellet is now catching good bags at 8m with f1’s, mirror and ghosties to 5lb. White maggot long to the island is producing good bags of mixed fish. Paste, corn, meat and pellet accounting for plenty of fish in the margins with barbell up to 2lb.
