Held the shimano carp cruncher the other day, a great bit of kit feels very light yet very strong.

i will second this i had one as a second pole to my maver as it was not up to the job alot of the time
very strong will handle almost anything had a lot of 20lb fish on it mine was the carp cruncher xtb 14.5m you can get it at 16m but forget that you can pick that 14.5 up for around £370 ish from bobco and climax tackle at the min
i dont know about the new modle
i only got rid of my shimano and maver to replace with a trilogy

by the way maver kits fit the carp cruncher spot on too

what maver kits fit the carpcruncher?

it is the maver compertition range that fit i only had 4 shimano kits a riggerd with heavy stuff but if i had to go for silvers instead of setting my maver up as well id just pull aout a few top kits for it
i still had carp to around 16 on the maver kits on the shimano pole without any problemson mibby 4/6 doubbled up
