        well..i fished hartleylands reservoir over in kent as guest on nicks league,drew ok’ish peg 2..but with the wind blowing oner my back i wasn’t hopefully of catching down the edge on which proved correct,never had a sniff of any decent fish in close and could only catch the odd fish on the wag..so how did you get on ??

          Didn’t go. Had to take the wife to the new Hepworth gallery in Wakefield; and what a waste of brass that place is. Full of luvvies taking every lump of bent metal sooo seriously – that Hans Christian Andersen fairytale sprang to mind; it needed somebody to stand up and shout, “It’s all shite!”
          The only thing worth looking at is the view of the Calder through the windows. And even then the building has ruined one of the few barbel swims on that stretch of the Calder.
