I just had a quick look through the new preston catalogue 2011/12 that came with the latest Match Fishing mag and I must say what a good read it is!

Some great tackle in there. The new design of hooklength boxes look particularly good.

        Well done to Prestons!!

        (no I’m not sponsored lol)

I agree, it is a great read – Preston have come a long way in a relatively short period of time – credit too them, they have some great products and a good group of sponsored anglers in their stable.

I don’t think the newest has reached the shops yet, but some of the older ones are available to view via the Preston website.

Like any tackle company they have the good, the bad and the average in their range.

I really like their rods, their end tackle is excellent and their seat boxes and hardware are well designed but lack build quality imo

Still the catalogue is well thought out, a good read and half the fun is looking what’s new on the market and working out what you can use to your advantage. Wished they had put prices on things though.

I must admit I spent many an hour drooling over the ABU catalogue back in the day, why I wanted all those spinners when I only really fished for roach is beyond me now.
