TF_Gary the gudgeonWell all you so called football experts on this forum failed dismally in the fantasy football league being soundly thrashed by a Lady,[ well done to her ] so when I say Barcelona will win tonight by at least 2 CLEAR GOALS I expect you experts will tell me I am wrong.
BARCELONA 3 MANCHESTER UNITED 1

TF_caster robParticipantExcellent.
The champions of the richest, most competetive, most watched, most exciting, most over-hyped, most blah, blah, blahhed, league in the world, utterly outplayed.
Only 3mins of fergie time, not like the sky league, although Valencia amasingly stayed on the pitch.
All reporters banned from the press conference?

TF_caster robParticipantStill some shades of the sky league, with an offside United goal allowed to stand.
Sour Alex must have thought he was back home. Incidentally, didn’t his face look a picture at Friday’s press conference?
No wonder he’s so loved.

TF_piperpilotHave you ever said a good word about anyone,

TF_caster robParticipantI was quite praiseful of Mrs Thatcher.
Absolutely lauded Michael Atherton, Omar Khayam, John McEnroe, Henry Cecil, Giani Rivera, amongst others.

TF_piperpilotThat says it all I suppose. Personally I’d go for people like ‘John Cunningham’ ‘Guy Gibson’ ‘Roland Beamont’ ‘Dougie Bader’ ‘Hanna Reitsch’ and ‘Adolf Galland’

TF_caster robParticipantThat’s all well and good. But if we can only say “good words” about aviators it tends to narrow the field somewhat.
Can you explain how that “says it all”? I’m at a bit of a loss in regard to your statement.

TF_Little Gozzergary the gudgeon, you are the TOP MAN, as usual your comments were spot on, your judgement of football matters is amazing and I always read them and agree with many of your conclusions.

Spot on as per Gary. But as you said on a later post,Man U.s goal “might” just have been ofside.Mind you although i dislike Rooney as a man,i thought it was a well taken goal.
Man U,apart from the first 10 mins, were played off the park by the greatest team i have ever seen.
To be fair to Sir Alex,even he had,and excepted a large slice of humble pie.~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap
