Fished it twice last year July and late September where I had 48lbs (sect) and 40lbs (2nd). I used paste on both occasions.

It’s a wierd fishery, very narrow in places you’ll see what I mean. The best pegs were those furthest away from the car park or either end of the channel that splits the islands, not sure why but I reckon the noise spooks the fish. I had carp from 2ozs to 4lbs and the odd skimmer. On the first match some of the guys had fish to 10lbs and weights just short of a ton. according to your peg you can fish the margin, channel or far bank, but as some are so narrow (7mtrs) you don’t have many options. You don’t want more than 15 either.

Not sure if I’d go back, watch out for the Alpaca’s Llama’s) makes a change from Cows!

Hathers has told you about the wrong lake !!

He’s talking about Sidewinder, you are on an oblong lake about 15m wide with 20 pegs. Fairly featureless, mainly carp. We fished it a couple of years ago when there seemed to be one shoal of fish in there. They seemed to be very similar to the Stubpond strain of carp.
