I have had the older Exceler Plus 4000’s for at least 2 years now. Good reels, can’t fault them.

Just got one in the 2500 size from Canada whilst visiting. Cost me less than £40 and is really nice and smooth. only used it twice, so can;t comment on longevity, but I’m very impressed with it, specially for that price.

Go to http://www.anglersmail.co.uk and you can read my review of the 4000 size.
All I’ll say is…I was so impressed, I bought another. Lovely reel for playing big fish and a steal if you get one for £75 instead of full RRP.
Just need to ping some line in and out of the clip a few times before using it as it is a bit harsh at first.

                  ???? Bigger than the 2500, smaller than a 4000.
