        I’ve had a MAP acs reel for a few months now. I was really excited about the ‘easy to get your line off’ line clip when I first got it.
        But it just doesn’t deliver. The reel is lovely and smooth but the line clip has a mind of its own. It unclips itself at random even though my anti reverse switch is on. Also I get the line trapped under the spool alot which I never have on my other reels.
        Shame, I really wanted to like this reel and had planned to buy more but with the problems I’ve had I’d better stick to Daiwas.
        Anyone else had these problems? Am I doing something wrong?

            mine is a nice real as smeagle says its smooth and powerfull enough but have had the same problems with the clip having amind of its own so now just use the other part of the clip
