        I have just had a call from Gerry at Colemans Cottage who has cancelled the next round of the UK Champs on us.
        When i asked why, he simply said ‘too much work’ and i said how come, why can it be too much work, and he replied with the same sentence ‘too much work’ sorry!
        So, i am a bit gobsmacked, as i booked this in January, local anglers have been practising, loads of us have hotel rooms booked, and i am just disappointed to be given short notice.
        I could have rang around other fisheries, but feel it would be better to just run the next round here at Barston, so that’s what i have done.
        All anglers have been notified.

        Paul Goldstaw
        Steve Clarke
        Marc Roger
        Colin Spencer

          I’m glad ive seen this, need to give you my new number nige. I have to say thats pretty shocking. Gutted as its a brilliant venue and I was really looking forward to it.
