My Preston bib & brace trousers need cleaning of slime / dirt, what is the best and right way to do this, eg what type of cleaning fluids / products should / should not be used ???

        Thanks

          NikWax

Just what the doctor ordered. Use the Tech wash first, and then TX-Direct Wash-In.
Cool wash and just let them drip dry. 😉

Another option is Storm ,use the wash in cleaner which is suitable for all fabrics. Then the wash in waterproofer (2 sorts, one is heat activated – using the tumble drier) Tend to be a bit cheaper than the NicWax Wash Tech if you buy the twin pack option and I’ve found it cleans just as well.

              Thank-you both.
Just been on Amazon – £11,70 for twin pack of tech wash + tx direct wash-in 🙂

you can buy the wash stuff for even cheaper, they doi a litre bottle….got some off amazon for not too much with some tx wash in.

I always use an damp old cloth first to remove what muck I can, think I get a better clean that way.
