Todays open at Barston was a bit of a hot one , but also very windy. So with most opting for the method feeder at Range Gaz wood ( Browning) was soon into a steady run of fish off peg 17 for a superb weight of 99lb.
Secound on the day was Lewis from peg 19 with 98lb on the method and pole. Lewis caught really well in the first two hours but it then went quieter and he managed to find some more on the pole.
Lee Taylor (Bagem – Greys) was 3rd off peg 47 , with 69lb 14 oz with a 50-50 catch of skimmers and carp on the pole and the method feeder.
