  Ginge, sorted – thanks for the heads up.
  Geeps warned me this morning that some hard porn had got through and 4 posts and users have been deleted and banned via there IP addy’s.
  I will let Geeps know and he can talk with Paul.

  Almost a full time job keeping up with these bots!!!! Had a word with GP earlier about what we had to do on another site, which will keep the bots down guaranteed. All depends on if administrators want to have a little bit more work to guarantee a family orientated site.

  Tooooo true – I have been deleting porn since about 11 this morning and i think i have just deleted the last post that i can find.
  It has been across the whole site, multiple posts from 1 bot – what a major pain that has been.

  I had to giggle earlier though, there is a user/member on the main board who is registered as “Bigusdickus” ! With all the porn floating around and deleting/banning IP addresses, he nearly got it! lol 🙂

  Well 4 hours in and I can’t see any new spam bot registrations, will keep an eye on it but hopefully that will be the end of them.
  
  Q&A is just simple questions that are easy for a human to answer, but hard for a computer. Like ‘what colour is the logo on this site?’. There are some fishing related ones on there at the moment, but the more questions there are the better, open to suggestions!

  I probably shouldn’t speak too soon, but i’m hoping it is all resolved now. The Spam Bots seem to have stopped their relentless assault with the new countermeasures in place.
  
  Login issues should hopefully be sorted, although some people may still need to request a new password.
  
  Fingers crossed anyway.
