preston powerline or reflo

  do any of you guys have a preference for either?.have been using the powerline for a while now and am happy with it(yes i know it is understated but i can put up with that)but is the reflo superior?

  You need to clarify the question mate.
  
  Reflo is a manufacturer…they make powerline amongst others, so it’s slightly confusing. 😉

  Precision is an older (discontinued) Preston / Reflo line, which I’m pretty sure only went up to .16 diameter and was replaced by Xceed. I used to use the Precsion for lighter work (winter carping) as it’s more supple. I haven’t tried the newer Xceed. To be honest, the original Powerline (now just Power for some reason?) is as good as anything for carping, just as long as you bear in mind it’s thicker than stated on the spool. I’ve used the stuff for about ten years now and it’s always been reliable.
