Maver K57 vs New £600 Pole

  I’m thinking of buying a new pole but only if I can get one better than my Maver k57 for about £600.
  Do you think a new £600 pole will be better than the k57?
  I’m not too worried about weight as I rarely go beyond 13m.
  Stiffness is important.
  I’m looking for an all round pole as a don’t specifically fish for small fish or large carp.

  Probably not. Interms of stiffness and for fishing up to 13m I would expect the K57 to be pretty awesome if my K47 is anything to go by.
  
  The only issue I could forsee to sticking with the K57 would be the availability/cost of spares should you bust a section.

  Jon W – You are right spares is the problem. I’m fishing a deep venue where I top 5s are needed. A new 5th is £300 from Maver – they say they have one left in stock. Expensive!!!
