TF_jwbGot to be the angler whose plan A works, as with NM last year.
I have a sneeky inkling for Keiron but it could be Nathon or Andy or John (or uncle tom cobbly)
Can’t wait 😉 -

TF_red_anglerThe draw will play a massive part in it, if the peg numbers are the same way around as last yr you will want pegs 1 to 8, i cant see it being won from the high numbers!!

TF_HatManThe bookies don’t think I’m going to win it (16 to 1), until i try and put a decent wad down, then they limit my bet 🙁

TF_allyParticipantThe hatman obviously fancies his chances and I think confidence will play a major part as will the draw. Its such a strong field on paper, previous finalists, highly sponserd anglers and highly rated, young, old, locals, and some so far un-mentioned anglers who have nothing to lose, but are still in the hunt because they are there, and they have already beaten the ‘names’ to qualify in the first place. It should be a facinating event, but its still not enough to persuade me to get pay for veiw. Good luck to all involved though.

I’m quite looking forward to the home international tho… -
17/07/2011 at 8:53 am #145551
TF_NeilFrom a spectator viewpoint at the event it wasn’t a great match to watch as there were so few fish being caught.
The venue itself could also do with a PA system to keep spectators updated. The weight board takes so long to get updated that the next weigh-in is just about to start when the weights are updated from the last.
The international match could be interesting as it is fished to international rules which means no feeder fishing and no pellets (or meat?).
