this is a tatic i want to use instead of using the method, is it best to grate the meat then add dry ground bait & maybe hemp or do you wet the groundbait & then add it to the meat?

Its all down to personal preference, here mine someone at Whiteacres shown me this in 2006 and Ive picked up money since then using this set up. 6lb Progold line,0.18 matchteam hooklength pr 36 size 16 with a 8mm punched cylinder of meat. Use a drennan cage feeder with some more roofing lead added if your fishing islands which have a steep slope the extra weight will hold the feeder.Preparing the meat I slice 6 tins of meat into aprox 4 mm slices and bang it through a maggot riddle, dont rub it you dont want a dust very small cubes are better, you can wet your meat if you like this is usefull if it floats. Get the hang of how much you have to squeeze it into the feeder so it will come out everytime and get used to casting to your clip and just mend the line your not looking to move your feeder when you mend the line. Washing up liquid spary is usefull when its windy because you will get a bow from your floating line.so for me no grooundbait or hemp just meat and loads of it Hope this helps Anthony
