Bridge Pool (24 Pegs )
1st D Oldham (Maltby) Peg Outer 46 91-12-0
Daz Oldham blitzed this Tuesday field with 91lb. Fishing meat and pellet at 13m Daz caught carp steadily throughout the match. He included specimens to 12lb
2nd S Barraclough (Frenzee/Bait Tech) Peg Outer 20 68-12-0
Steve opted for a meat shallow approach catching over 50lb of skimmers at around 4 ft deep. Steve also included 3 carp to 6lb for his second place catch.
3rd J Hobson (Sheffield) Peg Island 21 68-10-0
Jack alternated paste and catmeat over hemp and pellet for carp to 8lb
4th M Hall (Tuxford) 59-14-0 5th D Whiting (Buttonhole AC) 59-12-0
Thursday 7th July 2011 Daiwa Hallcroft Veterans Open

1st P Bagshaw (Barnsley Blacks) Peg 103 34-14-0
This was a tight finish for this latest vets match on Moat. Regular Pete Bagshaw just got the verdict with 34lb 12oz. Fishing worm and corn at 6m from outer 103 Pete caught 5 carp and skimmers to 2lb
2nd S Twigg (Map Leegem) Peg 27 34-12-0
Steve alternated pellet waggler and feeder with pellets for 7 carp to 7lb and a few skimmers.
3rd C Perry (Leicester) Peg 32 33-4-0
Colin fished paste over pellet at 10m for carp to 7lb

Alan fished meat up in the water at 13 m for 15 carp up to 8lb
2nd D Oldham (Maltby) Peg 28 81-4
Daz also fished meat but up and down in the water for his carp dominated net
3rd S Barraclough (Frenzee/Bait Tech) Peg 102 70-4
Steve caught in the margins on meat and corn over groundbait and pellets

Bridge Pool Outer (16 pegs)
1 Gordon Gibson, Worksop, 73-8-0; peg 32, Notts
Gordon Gibson caught mainly carp using catmeat over hemp and pellet on the pole at 8m and also the bomb fished to the middle of the lake to win today’s open on Bridge.
2 Gary Mumby, Triana, 57-12-0; peg 19, Notts
Gary Mumby was second with a nice net of skimmers and roach caught at 6m on the pole using chopped worm and caster as baits.
3 Rob Bell, Barnsley, 53-12-0; peg 23, S Yorks
Rob Bell also caught mainly skimmers, but used luncheon meat as bait on the pole at 11m.

Maver Match This Qualifier (Saturday)

1 Lee Kerry, Preston Innovations, 109-4-0; peg Moat Outer 70 S Yorks
Lee Kerry edged the victory in today’s Maver Match This Qualifier with a net of decent size carp up to 15lbs. Lee concentrated on the margins most of the match, he fed corn and caught on both corn and worms as alternative hook baits.
2 Andy Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 107-14-0; peg Moat Island 40 S Yorks
Andy Sellars took the second spot today with a nice ton-plus net of carp. Andy alternated between feeder with ground bait and corn and also used the pole to the margins with meat where he caught well late on.
3 Nick Speed, Middy Dynamite, 91-2-0; peg Moat Outer 50; S Yorks
Nick Speed fished shallow on the long pole fishing and feeding 6mm cubed luncheon meat with a catapult, to catch carp and skimmers for third place.

1 Steve Marshall, MAP Leegem, 107-12-0; peg M Isl 5 Derbys
Steve Marshall finished today’s winner with a nice ton plus net comprising of 20 carp up to 7lbs plus some silverfish. Steve fished the pole at 11m to both margins using double corn over ground bait and pellets and caught steadily throughout the match.
2 Nick Speed, Middy Dynamite, 89-12-0; peg Isl 23 S Yorks
Nick Speed caught well again for the second day in a row on Moat to take second place. Nick fished the pole at 12m and netted 17 carp and some skimmers on luncheon meat.
3 S Clark, Mansfield Sensas, 68-14-0; peg M Outer 85 Notts
Steve Clark took third spot with a good mixed net of carp and silvers caught on a short pole line using chopped worms and casters.
