A mild hernia.
People used to say how light it was at 14.5m but it wouldn’t compare with today’s poles at all.
I know! I still have mine! I got it out the other day and I just could not believe how saggy and heavy it is, mine has a flat butt section and is very small in diameter, in fact the butt section was designed to be smaller in diameter than the second from last section, Phil Briscoe showed me this pole when he and Maver were based near Watton in Norfolk, he was gushing about it! and I was in awe of it…..how poles have changed in those few years.
Gary, if you would like mine for spares you are welcome to it mate, just let me know.
