        Hi folks,

        Has anyone got or anyone played with the new Shimano Super Ultegra pole,

        Any thoughts, pro’s or con’s would be a great help……

        Any idea how the ultegra would match up against something like the Daiwa G20 in the similar price bracket???

        Any advice would be great.

          Had this pole about 14 Months.

          Been well impressed with it so far – i compared it against the G20 & i bought the Shimano !!!.

          Dead staright & as good as anything to 14.5m – goes a bit at 16m.
          Had some wild lumps upto 15lb on it
          Not broke a scetion yet (touchwood)
          Gen X Spare no’4’s are spot on
          One top kit a crack appeared – swapped out under 2 year warrenty.
          Used it for silvers & Carp – elastics double 4 through to Orange garbolino
          Sections seem strong – i’ve bumped a few !!!

          When i looked it was best pole for £1,200 that i could find. If i had 1K more & fished 16m regular i’d of gone for Fireblood.
          100% happy with mine !!!!!
