              Grant Albutt 38 kilo lost a lump at death as no 4 snapped and topkit went in to middle of lake cost him 50k ouch

                Thanks for feedback Greg, I would have thought there would have been more enthusiasm surrounding match fishings biggest match, you mention fisho on here and its a hot topic ! Did you go with Steve and was it a good day and what happened to Grant were they landing fish on top 4s I know its deep ? Anthony

                  I agree Anthony the prize money in this is nearly double that in other competitions! It was a fantastic day, a very professional and well organised competitition.

                  Well done Andy Power on winning the first Maver Match This final, superb performance. Unlucky Grant but I am sure you will be there again. Grant was fishing on the shallow bank pegged next to Andy, he was catching from next to the Lily pads at the end of the match and as he tried to land a carp hooked next to the pads his fourth section broke.

                    OMG .

                    This confirms part of the reason i got rid of my Gmax , brittle number 4’s . Same thing happened to me , lost top kit and cost me the macth , Not 50K though .
