Think its very much a chub, hide and skimmer affair at the moment. But never ever forget about the margins for the large carp. I reckon Caster up in the water shallow or chopped worm on the deck.

The weather is on the change again mate so as Nathan suggests it would be a chop worm and caster approach for me at 13m. I would feed worm and caster down the margins as well then iff the carp dont show you will still catch the skimmers. From pegs ten to fourty you can fish a small maggot (bronze) feeder on nearly every peg, if its going to be windy like it has been this week it could be a life saver and it works. Bomb and meat to the features if you draw one (peg 10, peg 30, peg 31,peg 32,peg 37) 🙂 . It will probably be hard work, I dont think its fished that brilliantly all season

Had a few good weights at Ranskill recently in matches on 4mm pellet fished short, had 80lb of skimmers off pegs 37, 29a, and 68lb off peg 27. Watch for the skimmers coming up in the water as you will catch a better stamp of fish. The carp and ide have not really been showing recently. The fish seem to be in the shallower pegs at the moment, 7,8,13 seems to be holding a lot of fish, 29a, 32,33, 37. I would agree with the earlier comments and would always have some chopped worm / caster just in case the IDE decide to feed.
