  8 Pairs FISHED CHERRY TREE AND TOP LAKE(the spit).
  
  We drew our partners in the cabin at 8/30am,and i must say i was delighted to draw the ex Fireman with the rather large tummy(Garry Clifford) as my fishing companion for this double header event.Once we knew our partner we drew our pegs and confirmed the lake we would be fishing this time round.On the next leg(Sun.9th Sept.) we would change lakes.
  I decided to fish Top Lake on this ocassion,and drove off with much hope to my Peg…..Peg 26 on the spit(flyer)…….I will tell you the grim outcome after the result. 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 .

  1st..Malcome Heaver…..Peg 22(Top Lake)….51lbs 0oz…(£110).
  2nd.John Radford………..Peg 3(Cherry Tree)..37lbs 4oz…(£80).
  Section A(Top Lake)…..Delbert……Peg 2……45lbs 2oz…(£30).
  Section B(Cherry)…….Gedge Cooper.Peg8…34lbs 0oz…(£30).

  I fished like a real mug(nothing new there then)…..Like others caught 20+ small Carp under a pound(not weighed in)from Top Lake.And lost 6 Method feeders in a tree casting to where the bloody fish were hiding.Weighed in 20lbs of Carp,Roach and Tench from one of my favourite pegs at Willy.
  As you can see it fished really hard…..Why?……Just dont know really….The only fish feeding were the chunky little Carp,which were pulling your tip round like a 5 pounder..lol.
  Better days had……But at least we were there,and it cant get any worse for me and Garry……..OR CAN IT?

  However i will let Bag up know you want to be on standby for it asap.I suggest you ring John Radford….He has got his finger on the pulse on all matches at Willy….No.07799505651…..Tell him i gave you it.Tell him to mention it to Bob about being a spare for the 9th too.
