I no these topics get asked time after time but……

After starting match fishing again in the summer after 5 years carping I could really do with upgrading my old drennan pole.

I’m looking to spend around £500..obviously with not match fishing for a while Iv lost touch with what’s been released over the last few years..

Wouldn’t mind second hand if it’s a good deal, and as many top kits as poss,

What do you guys think I should be looking at, as it’s a bit of a minefield

I think at that price range the MAP TKS range would probably take some beating. If you can stretch a bit further then perhaps have a look at the Garbolino G-Max 600.

Just make sure you inspect them properly before handing over the cash…..

I would say definately look at the TKS range. Especially the TKS 30, it’s discontinued but can still get spares. the pole is better than the new models, and you get more kits. spare tops range from 30- 40 quid and a no4 is only 30 quid. Great value for money.

agree’d,, think youll struggle to better this for £500,
crackin pole and not a million miles behind its big brother (tournament pro) at £2000 !!! 😉

MAP TKS range – spares / replacment sections are as cheap as chips.
