Can’t deny they are warm, but on muddy ground or wet wooden platforms they have no grip and are next to lethal. 😮

I know skeetex are good but are there any neoprene wellies worth trying so you can walk in them to your peg because dont find skeetex boots very good for walking in and im not one for changing boots at your peg .

forget Skeetex and other similar ones. The best are Sub-Zero wellies from Canada.Super grip and extremely warm but cost over £100 -I.ve had mine 3 years – well worth the expense

i think he could mean baffin boots !!!! as for another what about the skeetex field boots instead seam ok plus they are the ankle type boot i have the original wellie type skeetex and the warmth out does the tread in my eyes nothing worse than cold feet it aint good at all just take care or do what i do in winter just have square cut off a carpet then it easy to set up your box on your slippy peg then put it under your feet you would be amazed how warm your feet stay instead of sitting on a metal foot plate an old guy told me this remidy years ago on the canals try it u will be amazed 😎

If you intend to walk any distance Skeetex are a mare, try Muck Boots, think it’s called Tay Sport, It’s a neoprene wellie and excellent in sub zero conditions…..

I have a pair of Goretex walking boots and wear sealskinz socks underneath. Its like wearing carpet slippers on the bank, super grip super warm.
I can drive in them as well so no change necessary on the bank.
