I am settled with both Preston hollo and Daiwa hyroelastic but am wondering how light I need to go for this winter? I used white hydro on saturday and comfortably had a pair of doubles out on 18 hooks 013 line.
I note Hydro below white comes in blue and pink whilst preston also do one size below the 011 red, the lightest I use, an 09.
Has anyone any experience with these as idealy I would use them for summer silvers as well as winter carping, on puller kits of course.

I use Blue Hydro and 9 Preston Hollow for winter silvers when they are realy having it, use it at White Acres during the winter months, great for F1’s, big skimmers and those dog perch.

The green Drennan Bungee is also lovely soft elastic similar to the above.

Never felt the need to go below the Blue Hydro (in Hollows), just use slip No5 for everything else!!

green drennan is the softest hollow ive used. trouble is the inside walls of the elastic sticks together, then you get problems with air bubbles apearing. i dont get this problem with 9 hollo.
